Bruce Townson is a Director in BDC Capital’s Growth & Transition Capital group serving clients in the technology sector across BC and the Yukon. Prior to joining BDC, Bruce served as CEO of Vancouver-based Ecotagious Inc. from founding until its acquisition by Uplight. Ecotagious was a Clean SaaS company that landed at 43rd in the Globe and Mail’s 2019 list of Top Growing Companies in Canada and on the 2019 Ready to Rocket List for Clean Tech. Bruce has also served in engineering, strategy and corporate development positions within the energy, clean tech, software and management consulting sectors. In addition to helping entrepreneurs, Bruce loves exploring BC and its coast with his family.
